Stockmarket Plus crashes when trying to perform price download

If the client receives a crash or issue when attempting to download, then this generally relates to a firewall or antivirus blocking the software from connecting with our server.

  1. Get the client to turn off the antivirus before trying to perform the price download again to confirm the cause.
  2. If the download works with the AV or Firewall off, then you know the cause.
  3. Create an exception to and as well as to the software itself (exception for the install folder).

If the client is receiving an error such as permission, vista registry, or data access, then it means they have not entered their username in Tools > Options or their account has not been setup on our end.
